Age calculated, rather than date
While my child is very young, it would be great if a work was labelled 3 years, 2 months, rather than just the date.

Your Idea is great, and was actually already implemented in our laters version, which you can update from the appstore.
as soon as you update, if you would look at your kid gallery in the grid mode, you will see it order by age
